Jiangsu Zhenjiang launches 2,942kW ASD tug

Jiangsu Zhenjiang Shipyard launched a new ASD tug on Saturday, April 18.

The tug will be named Xin Bei Bu Wan Gang 18 and will have a total installed power of 2,942 kW once completed.

The vessel will be operated by Guangxi Beibuwan Tugboat Company alongside another tug that Jiangsu Zhenjiang is currently building. Both will be used to provide towage services in the northern waters of the Gulf of Tonkin.
