Jiangsu ports get new tugs
China’s Jiangsu Zhenjiang Shipyard has handed over two newbuild ASD tugs in a series to separate local port operators in Jiangsu Province.
Zhen Gang Tuo 4001 and Zhen Gang Tuo 4006 (pictured) will be operated by the Port of Yangzhou and the Port of Zhenjiang, respectively.
Each tug has an LOA of 39.7 metres, a beam of 10 metres, and two 1,471kW engines that deliver a bollard pull of 51 tonnes and a speed of 13.4 knots.
