Italian port operator adds second Sanmar 24-metre tug to fleet
Italian port services company Rimorchiatori Salerno has taken delivery of a new ASD tug from Sanmar Shipyards of Turkey.
Arechi is the second tug in a series to join the Rimorchiatori Salerno fleet after Città di Salerno, which Sanmar delivered in 2018. Both tugs were designed by Robert Allan Ltd and are based at the Port of Salerno in southwestern Italy.
Arechi has an LOA of 24.4 metres, a beam of 11.25 metres, FiFi 1/2 notation, and two Caterpillar 3512C 1,765kW engines that deliver a bollard pull of 60 tonnes.
