Eastern Shipbuilding delivers first of two 24m tugs to Bisso Offshore
Eastern Shipbuilding Group has delivered the first unit in a series of two tugs ordered from the company by E.N. Bisso and Son subsidiary Bisso Offshore.
The Robert Allan Ltd-designed tug has been named C.D. White. It measures 24 by 11.5 metres and is powered by two Caterpillar 3512C 1,900kW IMO Tier III-compliant engines.
The second tug in the series, A. Thomas Higgins, is currently under construction at Eastern Shipbuilding’s facilities in Florida.
