Daizo delivers 3,280kW tug to Imabari operator

Japanese builder Daizo Corporation recently delivered a new harbour tug to local operator Nakai Tug Boat Service Company.

The tug, which has been named Katsuda Maru, has an LOA of 36.5 metres, a beam of 8.9 metres, a displacement of 224 tonnes, and a total installed power of 3,280 kW.

The newbuild will be operated out of the Port of Imabari in Ehime prefecture.
