Daizo delivers 2,980kW tug to Shibaura Tsusen

Daizo Corporation has delivered a new harbour tug to local operator Shibaura Tsusen Kaisha.

Named Yashima Maru, the newbuild has an LOA of 33.4 metres, a beam of 9.6 metres, a displacement of 197 tonnes, and a total installed power of 2,980 kW.

The tug will be used to provide towage services at the Port of Tokyo.
