Abu Dhabi Ports orders Med Marine ASD tug

Abu Dhabi Ports has placed an order with Turkey’s Med Marine for a new ASD harbour tug to serve Khalifa Port in the UAE.

The Robert Allan Ltd-designed vessel will have an LOA of 23 metres, a beam of 11 metres, and two Caterpillar 3512 1,765kW main engines that will deliver a bollard pull of 60 tonnes and a speed of 12 knots.

Delivery is set for November 2019.
