Fincantieri Marine delivers ATB to Moran Towing
Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding (FBS) has delivered an articulated tug barge unit (ATB), ‘Barbara Carol Ann Moran’, and the 110,000-barrel barge ‘Louisiana’ to Moran Towing.
The 3,950kW, 36-metre vessel will work the east coast of the United States and the Gulf of Mexico.
This is the third delivery to Moran under a 2014 contract, with a tank barge delivered in May of 2015, and another ATB – the tug ‘Leigh Ann Moran’ and tank barge ‘Mississippi’ – delivered December 1, 2015.
