VT Halter Marine launches tug Evening Breeze for Bouchard Transportation

The ATB tug Evening Breeze was launched on Wednesday, November 7, at VT Halter Marine’s Pascagoula shipyard in Mississippi.

Evening Breeze is a 2,982kW twin screw ABS-classed ATB tug. It will be paired with barge B No. 252 which is currently under construction at Bollinger Shipyards.

The tug measures 96.77 metres by 21.33 metres by 8.53 metres, will have a 55,000 barrel capacity, and will be used to transport liquid petroleum products throughout the Jones Act Market.
