Cakara Maritime takes delivery of 15m mooring boat
Malaysia’s Cakara Maritime recently took delivery of a new 15.5-metre multi-purpose mooring boat.
Cakara Satu was designed by Mega Salutes for shallow draught operation at one metre around port limits and in riverine areas.
The vessel is equipped with twin Cummins NT855 engines with a total output of 521kW at 1,800rpm.
It has a speed of 12 knots at full load as well as a bollard pull of 8.3 tonnes despite having a small-sized propeller.
