Italy: Stem Marine's StemTen fast rescue boat is a professional work boat made of Kevlar and vinylester FBG suitable for vessels required for rescue and emergency, fire-fighting, research, anti-pollution and coast patrolling.
One of these vessels was recently delivered to the Fire Department of Monaco.
This Stem Marine RIB rides well in rough seas and is structured for the most extreme sea conditions.
With regards to safety, the hull provides optimum ride comfort and exceptional stability. The hull's structure and deck are made of a Kevlar compound and vinylester resin and is amply reinforced.
A half-inflatable tube, made of Hypalon, divided into seven water tight sections is applied along the borders and is available in different colours and carries out the function of buffer and reserve buoyancy.
The vessel has an overall length of 10.3 metres, an inflated maximum beam of 3.6 metres and a deflated rigid hull width of 3.14 metres. The vessel comes with a standard 20-person capacity.
StemTen can install either inboards or outboards engines from 447kW to 595kW. The inboard version can also be coupled to waterjets or stern drives.
