SeaRobotics, Okeanus make new ASV available for rental

SeaRobotics has entered into a partnership with Okeanus Science and Technology with the purpose of making autonomous surface vehicles (ASVs) increasingly available for international rental.

The partnership has also added a new ASV optimised for shallow and hard-to-navigate waters in its combined portfolio of man-portable survey vessels that are available for rental.

The ASV is equipped with a multibeam echosounder and LIDAR and will be capable of supporting a range of applications including bathymetry, habitat mapping, structure inspection, and search and rescue (SAR).
