Ocean Infinity awards contract for six 85m robotic vessels
Fincantieri, through subsidiary Vard, has secured a contract to design and build six marine robotic vessels for research and survey company Ocean Infinity.
The 85-metre vessels will support Ocean Infinity’s operations in a wide range of sectors. The vessels will be operated from shore and will eventually utilise green ammonia as fuel.
Construction of the robotic vessels will take place at Vard Vung Tau in Vietnam.
