India's National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) has ordered a pair of coastal research vessels for ocean exploration/survey and technology demonstration purposes.
The vessels measure in at 43 by 9.6 and 30 by 6.0 respectively. Each will be equipped with a range of scientific equipment including A-frames, cranes, hydrographic winches and full electronics packages.
Delivery is scheduled for August 2019 and February 2020.
