Argentina accepts newbuild research vessel

The Argentinian National Institute of Fisheries Research and Development has received a new oceanographic and fishing research vessel.

Built at Spanish yard Astilleros Armon in Vigo, the 52- by 12.8-metre research ship, the Victor Angelescu, is a silent vessel.

Kongsberg installed and integrated the majority of the electronic systems aboard the new vessel, including acoustic systems, bridge and automation system and operational technology.
