Published on

The Fire Rescue Service of Thunder Bay, Ontario, has taken delivery of a new seven-metre-long boat for conducting water rescues on Lake Superior.

The vessel replaces a five-metre-long Zodiac that had been with the department for nearly 20 years.

The C$200,000 (US$150,000) boat has two 111kW outboard engines, a side-scan sonar, and an onboard fire pump.
