Philippines’ Rapu-Rapu island gets new ambulance boat

The Philippine Department of Health (DOH) recently took delivery of a new ambulance boat from local shipbuilder Stoneworks Specialist International Corporation.

The boat has been named Rapu-Rapu MHO. It is of FRP construction and is powered by one Mercury outboard engine.

The newbuild is slated for use by the municipal health office on the island of Rapu-Rapu in Albay province.
