California’s San Bernardino County gets third Lake Assault fire and rescue boat

The San Bernardino County Fire Protection District (SBCFPD) in California has taken delivery of a new fire and rescue craft from Wisconsin builder Lake Assault Boats.

The newbuild has a length of 8.5 metres, twin Mercury Verado 260kW outboard engines, a Darley firefighting pump, a bow door, dual dive doors, and a davit crane.

The vessel is already serving on California’s Big Bear Lake and is similar to another SBCFPD boat stationed in Needles, California, on the Colorado River. It is the third response boat to be supplied by Lake Assault to the same operator.
