UAE oyster farm takes delivery of locally built RHIB

UAE oyster farming company Dibba Bay Oysters recently took delivery of a new custom-built rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) from local builder Asis Boats.

The 9.5-metre RHIB features Asis’ unique hull design that will enable it to withstand rough sea and weather conditions. A shallow draught will allow easy access to oyster beds even in low tide.

The boat is equipped with a crane, a diver notch, a full-length T-top, and neoprene protection patches on the tube. The bow was intentionally kept empty to allow ample space for occupants to move around, work, and harvest.

Power is provided by two Mercury Seapro F150 four-stroke engines.
