Hellenic Navy orders 11 RIBs from Viking

Viking Life-Saving Equipment has won an order from the Hellenic Navy for 11 rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) in a series.

The boats will be deployed as daughter craft aboard larger Hellenic Navy vessels and will be used predominantly to support search and rescue (SAR) operations.

Viking Norsafe Life-Saving Equipment Hellas, Viking’s Greek branch, will deliver all 11 RIBs to the navy by the summer of 2020 and will also provide technical support and maintenance for the vessels.
