Dorset Police takes delivery of patrol RIB

The Dorset Police recently added a new rigid inflatable boat (RIB) to its fleet of coastal patrol craft.

Built by Ribcraft RIBs of Yeovil, the boat has a length of 10.5 metres, a beam of 3.5 metres, a draught of 90 centimetres, a GRP cabin, and seating for up to 14 people.

The RIB was delivered shortly after completion of sea trials late last month.
