Svitzer’s newest pilot boats begin operations in Oman

Svitzer inaugurated two of its newest pilot boats into service earlier this month.

Svitzer Majan and Svitzer Al Bateel belong to the same series built by Besiktas Shipyard in Turkey. Each has two Caterpillar engines and capacity for 12 people.

The vessels have already begun providing pilotage services at the Sohar Port and Freezone in Oman.
