Los Angeles Pilot Service gets new boats

The Los Angeles Pilot Service recently took delivery of two pilot boats in a series from Vigor Industrial of Vancouver, Washington.
Angels Pilot and Angels Navigator each have a length of 17 metres and a twin-chine heavy weather hull form to ensure excellent seakeeping. There are also multiple heavy fender systems that allow for safer pilot transfers under extreme conditions.
Each boat also has a Mackay Communications electronics package that includes a FLIR camera, VHF radios, EPIRB, GPS, AIS, and loudhailer.
