Irish builder launches new pilot boat for Cromarty Firth, Scotland

Irish boat builder Safehaven Marine has launched a new pilot boat ordered by the Port of Cromarty Firth in Scotland.

The 14-metre Balblair is the second boat in a series ordered from Safehaven by the same customer. The first boat, Dalmore, has been in operation since 2019.

Balblair will undergo sea trials over the coming weeks. It is scheduled to enter service with its new owner in April.
