Goodchild Marine bags Bristol Channel pilot boat contract

Goodchild Marine has been awarded a contract to supply a new pilot boat for Sedgemoor District Council.

The vessel will be operated by the Port of Bridgwater across the Bristol Channel in the southwest of England.

The pilot boat will be capable of speeds of up to 26 knots and will follow the same design as Kingfisher (pictured), a newbuild recently delivered to the Port of Lowestoft.

Delivery to the Port of Bridgwater is scheduled in the spring of 2020.
