Gladding-Hearn wins Maryland pilot boat order

Gladding-Hearn Shipbuilding has been awarded a contract to supply a new pilot boat to the Association of Maryland Pilots.

The aluminium vessel will have a length of 14.7 metres, a beam of 4.7 metres, and two Volvo Penta D13 447kW engines that will deliver a maximum speed of 29 knots.

The pilot boat is expected to be delivered in April 2021.
