Colombo Dockyard lays keel of third pilot launch for SLPA

Sri Lankan shipbuilder Colombo Dockyard (CDPLC) recently laid the keel of the third pilot launch in a series ordered by the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA).

The vessel will have a length of 19 metres, capacity for four pilots/passengers and four crew, and a service speed of around 22 knots.

The design of the pilot launch was provided by MacDuff Ship Design of Scotland.
