Jianglong Shipbuilding launches new firefighting boat

Jianglong Shipbuilding has launched a new steel-aluminium firefighting boat designed for operation in inland waterways.

Once completed, the vessel will have an LOA of 38.5 metres, a beam of 11.2 metres, and a speed of 17 knots.

The firefighting equipment will consist of two water cannons with a range of 150 metres and two water/foam dual use auxiliary cannons each with a water range of 150 metres and a foam range of 80 metres. There will also be onboard deck space for a deployable small boat for water rescues.

The vessel will be operated in the waters of the Pearl River and the Dawan District between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau.
