Jianglong Shipbuilding delivers new firefighting command boat for Chongqing City

Jianglong Shipbuilding has delivered a new command and control vessel to the municipal fire brigade of the city of Chongqing in southwestern China.

The steel-aluminium vessel, which has been named Yuxiao Jiu Zhihui 01 (“Yuxiao Rescue Command 01”), has an LOA of 39.2 metres, a beam of 6.5 metres, and a speed of 20 knots.

The newbuild is fitted with an electric-powered water/foam firefighting monitor with a spray range of 80 metres, cameras, and lockers for storing additional equipment for firefighting and search and rescue (SAR) operations.

Design work on Yuxiao Jiu Zhihui 01 was provided by China Shipbuilding Group subsidiary 701 Research Institute.
