Jianglong launches new command boat for Chongqing fire brigade
Jianglong Shipbuilding has launched a new command and control (C&C) boat slated for the municipal fire brigade of the southwestern Chinese city of Chongqing.
The vessel has an LOA of 39.2 metres, a beam of 6.5 metres, and a design speed of 20 knots. Once completed, it will have a command centre and an electric-powered water/foam firefighting pump.
The C&C boat was designed by China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation’s (CSIC) 701 Research Institute.
