Moose Boats to build fire rescue catamaran for Rochester, New York
Moose Boats and the Rochester, New York, Fire Department (RFD) have signed a contract for a new fire rescue catamaran.
The aluminium craft will be powered by two Cummins diesel engines producing 425 hp (316 kW) each.
Onboard equipment will include a fire pump system, radar, 3D side scan sonar, AIS, VHF radios, and a thermal imaging camera.
