Zodiac Milpro to expand Spanish boat production facility

Published on:

French company Zodiac Milpro, a builder of inflatable and rigid-inflatable boats for professional and military use, has announced a major expansion of its main production site in Roses, Spain.

The company stated the expansion is to meet a sharp increase in European demand. The works, which will take place between May and December 2025, will add 2,000 square metres of production workshops and 350 square metres of new offices. Full commissioning of the expanded facility is planned for January 2026.

The project aims to increase the site's production capacity by 20 per cent and strengthen engineering capabilities for more complex projects, such as the integration of drone systems. The expansion will also support a significant increase in personnel, with the workforce expected to reach 280 employees, a 60 per cent rise over three years.

The Roses facility, located in Catalonia, has been in operation since 1964. The company noted it is a supplier to numerous national navies, special forces, and sea rescue services.
