Montenegro maritime safety authority takes delivery of rescue boat

Montenegro's Maritime Safety Authority (Uprava Pomorske Sigurnosti; UPS) recently took delivery of a new rigid inflatable boat (RIB) for search and rescue (SAR) duties.

The boat was purchased with €220,000 (US$245,000) in funds donated to UPS by the country's Civil Aviation Agency.

Among the boat's onboard equipment is a thermal camera which can view and record objects up to two kilometres away even at night.
