Incredibly boring (at first) but equally incredibly useful. Of course, once you start to carefully examine this book it becomes fascinating.
The reader keeps wanting to feed in different ports just to find out how far apart they are. Wouldn't it be wonderful if all of this information was available instantly on the web. A suggestion for the publishers.
Meanwhile, if you want to know the distance between, for example, Antofagasta and Balikpapan it is easy to find. It's 9,751 nautical miles for those too stingy to buy a copy!
Even some important rivers and canals are included.
