Viking Line’s newest ferry to serve Turku-Aland-Stockholm route
Viking Line took delivery of its newest Ro-Pax ferry from China’s Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry Company on Thursday, December 23.
Viking Glory will operate on the Turku–Aland Islands–Stockholm route beginning in March 2022. Viking Line’s total investment in the project is approximately €225 million (US$254.7 million).
The DNV-classed ferry has a length of 222.55 metres, a beam of 35 metres, and capacity for 2,800 passengers and 1,500 lane metres of freight on three decks.
