Stena Line’s two largest ferries have completed a €1 million (US$1.13 million) refit to provide more modern onboard facilities.

The 240-metre-long Ro-Pax vessels Stena Hollandica (pictured) and Stena Britannica, which sail twice daily on the North Sea between Harwich in the UK and Hoek van Holland in the Netherlands, were in drydock in the EDR Shipyard in the Port of Antwerp to undergo their regular annual maintenance to keep them up to standards.

While in Antwerp, the interior space on each ferry was expanded to accommodate new facilities. Each vessel now has an additional duty free shop and 15 cabins for passengers traveling with pet dogs.

Other upgrades include renovations in the onboard coffee bars and some of the suites.
