Irish Continental Group secures funding for second ferry

Irish Continental Group (ICG) has secured financing for the construction of the second new vessel for ICG’s Irish Ferries operations due for delivery during 2020.

ICG concluded an additional financing facility with the European Investment Bank.

This additional facility comprises a committed €80 million (US$93 million) drawing limit and is available for drawing during July 2018.

Once delivered, the vessel will be the largest Ro-Pax ferry in the world in terms of vehicle capacity.
