Havila Kystruten’s two newest coastal ferries floated out
Turkey’s Tersan Shipyard has floated out two new coastal Ro-Pax ferries currently being built for Norwegian operator Havila Kystruten.
Havila Capella and Havila Castor were both designed by Havyard Design and Solutions. Each will have 179 cabins and a hybrid LNG-battery propulsion system expected to reduce CO2 emissions by as much as 25 per cent.
Delivery of the ferries is expected in the first quarter of 2021.
