GSI lays keel of second 600-pax ferry for DFDS

Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) has laid the keel for a new Ro-Pax ferry ordered by DFDS.

The vessel will have an LOA of 230 metres, a beam of 31 metres, a design draught of 6.8 metres, and capacity for 600 passengers and 4,500 lane metres of cargo.

The ferry will be the second in a series to be built for DFDS. It will be operated between the cities of Karlshamn, Sweden, and Klaipėda, Lithuania.
