AVIC Weihai delivers large Ro-Pax for Hong Kong

AVIC Weihai Shipyard delivered the newbuild large Ro-Pax New Grand Peace to Hong Kong-based Jiaodong Shipping on Wednesday, October 31.

This is the first Ro-Pax vessel built and delivered by AVIC Weihai.

New Grand Peace has accommodations for 880 passengers as well as a vehicle compartment comprising three vehicle decks. The passenger accommodations all have noise reduction features.

The vessel has a design speed of 20.6 knots.
