KD’s newest river tour boat nearing completion
RheinGalaxie, a new river tour boat ordered by German operator Köln-Düsseldorfer Deutsche Rheinschiffahrt (KD), is currently in the final stages of fitting out at the facilities of Shipyard De Hoop in the Netherlands.
The 85- by 14-metre vessel is designed to host parties and events for up to 1,000 people on Germany’s Rhine River.
De Hoop expects that RheinGalaxie‘s engines will undergo their initial start-up following fitting out.
