First Russian-built LNG-powered passenger vessel sails on maiden voyage

The first LNG-powered passenger vessel to be built in Russia set sail on its maiden voyage on Sunday, August 30.

Named Chayka (“Seagull”), the vessel is a Project 03622 river tour boat built by Zelenodolsk Shipyard for local operator State Transport Leasing Company.

The newbuild has a length of 58.8 metres, a beam of 10.8 metres, and capacity for 170 passengers.
