Zadar Port Authority opens management tender for new Port Gaženica terminal

Zadar Port Authority has opened a tender for a company to manage, operate and maintain a new passenger terminal at Port Gaženica in Croatia.

Under construction since September 2016, the terminal will handle local and international traffic, homeporting, day call and cruise ship turnaround operations.

Construction is expected to be completed in March.

The port welcomed more than two million cruise and ferry passengers in 2017, and has predicted an increase in passenger traffic next year.

The fixed-term contract requires the successful bidder to provide passenger services and maintain port and terminal infrastructure for 20 years.

Tenders must be submitted by noon on January 15.
