Wight Shipyard completes fast ferry pair for Ultramar

Wight Shipyard has completed construction of two fast ferries in a series for Mexican operator Ultramar.

Designed by Incat Crowther, each vessel has a length of 37 metres, capacity for 459 passengers, and two MTU 12V4000 M63 1,500kW engines that deliver a speed of 24 knots.

The ferries are scheduled for delivery in July.
