Thassos Ferries accepts delivery of double-ended ferry

The Greece-based Kouris Shipyard has delivered the 2,600GT double-ended ferry Anax to Thassos Ferries.

She joined the four-ship Thassos Ferries fleet, including the 2015-built Anassa M, which was also built at the Amaliapolis shipyard.

One of the largest ferries built in Greece in the past decade, the 100-metre by 20-metre Anax features a large car deck and two passenger decks.

She is scheduled to enter service in late March.
