Samso Rederi selects Incat Crowther ferry design
Denmark’s Samso Rederi has contracted Incat Crowther to design a new passenger catamaran that will serve the Aarhus-Samso ferry route.
The vessel will have a length of 35 metres, capacity for 296 passengers, and two MAN D2862 LE463 1,029kW main engines delivering a cruising speed of 25 knots and a maximum speed of 29.5 knots.
The ferry will be built to BV rules and flagged under the Danish Maritime Authority.
