Nordland Fylkeskommune takes delivery of new catamaran shuttle ferry
Norway’s Nordland Fylkeskommune has taken delivery of a new catamaran fast ferry from local builder Brødrene Aa.
Named Fredrikke Tønder-Olsen, the ferry will operate a shuttle service between the municipalities of Alstahaug, Lurøy, and Træna.
The vessel has a length of 44.2 metres, capacity for 193 passengers and 16 cargo pallets, and a service speed of 32 knots.
