New Orleans Regional Transit Authority begins revenue sailings of newest ferry

The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) has begun revenue sailings of its newest ferry, RTA2.

Designed by BMT Designers and Planners and built by Metal Shark Boats, the aluminium catamaran vessel has a length of 32 metres and capacity for 150 passengers.

Power is provided by two Caterpillar C18 533kW engines.
