New ferry for Hong Kong launched at Chinese yard
China’s Jianglong Shipbuilding launched a new all-steel ferry at its Guangdong province facilities on Friday, March 5.
The 34- by eight-metre Fuqiang (“Prosperous”) will be operated by Hong Kong Fortune Ferry Company.
The ferry will have capacity for 365 passengers plus four crewmembers and two main engines that will deliver a speed of 12 knots.
