New Chinese/Norwegian ferry building joint venture launches first newbuild
Sinoway, a joint venture between Brødrene Aa and Chu Kong Shipping located in Nasha, Guangdong, has completed and delivered its first vessel, named Yin Zhu Hu.
The hull and superstructure of the carbon fibre catamaran was infused and assembled in Hyen before shipped by carrier to Sinoway for outfitting.
After successful trials and commissioning, the new build was handed over to Guangzhou Panyu Lianhuashan Port Passenger Transport Co. on August 14.
